  1. Call emergency responders immediately.

  2. Describe the snake to the emergency responders while you are on the phone.

  3. Stay calm, still and quiet while traveling to the hospital or waiting for an ambulance.

  4. For shallow venomous bite wounds, let the initial wound naturally bleed out.
